A Look Inside One Stop Kid Shop

One Stop Kid Shop opened its doors April 25, 2009 in Malvern, PA, located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. After her youngest son, Aaron left for college, owner Sandy Coonley decided to pursue her lifelong dream of opening a boutique.

Using her retail management degree from Syracuse University and 20 years of retail experience in department stores and boutiques, she decided to fill an empty niche in the area for classic affordable children’s clothing and gifts that can’t be found at the mall.

Along with her friend Angie Cheeseman, who has over 15 years experience working in children’s boutiques, they selected a location, remodeled the interior, and met with vendors and suppliers. Sandy’s older son, Brian came up with the catchy name One Stop Kid Shop which clearly describes the store’s inventory.

One Stop Kid Shop was recently featured in Earnshaws magazine!  The store was voted Best Children's Store for 2010 in the Best of the Main Line Suburban Life and Main Line Times poll!
